Manufacturer suggests a 12 x 8 prop on 6 cells or 13 x 10 on 4 cells.

1) Awsome motor, Mounted on a 'Boomerang 60' trainer, spinning a 14x8J.X.F. prop 0n 6S1P 3700mah Zippy R battery. Drawing 62A at 1350watts!! gives the 3.5 kg trainer unlimited vertical! 12 min flight consumed under 2200 milliamps. Need to advance timing to get smooth full throttle!!
2) Tested this motor today with LIPOS 5S 4100:
-prop graupner 14x6 = maximum 4200 grams traction and 60 AMP. Half throttle 2000 grams and 20 AMP.
-prop APC 12x8= 3200 grams traction and 60 AMP, half throttle 1600 grams and 16 AMP.
Suggested optimal prop for 5S 13X6. would give good power/consumption ratio
Conclusion: Great motor with really high performances. Motor is barely warm even at max power.
3) Très bon moteur. Voici les tests que j'ai fait en utilisant un hélice 12/6 :
avec accu 3 Cel. : 184 W, 16,37 A
Avec accu 4 Cel. : 274 W, 21,35 A
Avec accu 6 Cel. : 596 W, 36,02 A
J'en commande un autre pour les monter sur un bi moteur de 5 Kg.
